Home of Programmer Sue
I'm otherwise known as Sue Ricket Caldwell. I've been a computer programmer since 1967. Most of my work has been in the field of airplane navigation systems. For many years, I was responsible for the development and use of the navigational database for several commercial aviation and business-class aircraft navigation systems. Here is my work history.
In 2012, I received Webmaster Certification from Austin Community College. Two samples of my classwork are a Caldwell family description and Sue's World of Taekwondo. My final, Capstone project was creating a website for the Mary Rebekah Lodge. My preferred website development tool is Adobe's Dreamweaver.
One of my favorite activities is participation in the Gilbert & Sullivan Society of Austin, of which I am a founding member. I have been Newsletter Editor since September, 2009, creating six 4- to 8-page newsletters per year, using first Microsoft Publisher and now Adobe InDesign. In 2011, I also assumed responsibility for the playbill for our Society's summer Grand Production (most recently for The Gondoliers); these playbills are also produced using InDesign.
